* Iron and rheumatoid arthritis. Day-to-day variation in iron levels is lower in the elderly than in the younger population. Iron levels are similar in both elderly women with or without rheumatoid arthritis. J Am Diet Assoc, March 1996.
* Riboflavin Deficiency and Rheumatoid Arthritis. There is an association of riboflavin deficiency with the further development of rheumatoid arthritis and the inflammation characterizing the disease. Ann Rheum Dis, Nov. 1996.

* Vitamin A and Infectious Arthritis. Vitamin A deficiency may exacerbate acute Lyme arthritis. Conversely, intake of vitamin A may ease symptoms of Lyme arthritis. J Infect Dis, Oct. 1996.
